Our Meetings
Our club holds a regular business meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month from September through June. We gather at Pal Joey’s Restaurant, 31 N. River Street, Batavia beginning at 6:30 pm with social time. These meetings include presentations of interest to the community. Our business starts at 7:00 PM , followed by discussion about Club operations and upcoming projects. Our membership is open to men and women 18 and older who want to serve the community.
Our Board meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month. These meetings are also held at Pal Joey’s Restaurant, 31 N. River Street, Batavia all members are welcome to attend.

The Batavia Lions Club was founded in 1974 as a charter of Lions Clubs International. The motto “We Serve” is exemplified by the many services our 32 members engage in throughout the community. Whether it be helping with the Easter Egg hunt, providing vision and hearing screenings, working at Windmill Fest or collecting eyeglasses for recycling where there is a need there is a Lion.
Membership is open to anyone over 18 years of age.
Membership in the Club includes membership in Lions International who provide each of us access to the Lions Magazine, the District 1J monthly newsletter, and low cost or cost free training opportunities of benefit to your Lions life as well as to your business and personal life.
There are several types of memberships available, but the primary regular membership enables you full participation in Lions events, conventions and leadership opportunities. Currently our bi-annual dues are $40.00 which includes your State and National dues, paid on members’ behalf by the Club.
